Scott, twin brother to Jamie Tyler, is the fourth of the Five and is one of the main protagonists in the third book in the Power of Five series Nightrise. At the beginning of the book, Scott is preforming in a dingy theatre in Reno, Nevada. Soon Scott is kidnapped and both physically and mentally tortured by the sinister Nightrise corporation. At the end of the novel Jamie and Scott are united with Matt and Pedro. Scott is 14 years old in Nightrise, but are 15 in Necropolis. In Necropolis, it shows that Jamie is now more in charge of the two, as Scott is very withdrawn and quiet. Scott also, as a result of the Nightrise corporation torture, shuts down when in stress.Scott is still very mentally strong.

Scott was discovered as a baby, along with his twin brother Jamie, in a cardboard box left by the side of the road near [Lake Tahoe], [USA]. No one knows who his parents are or where he came from. After being moved from foster home to foster home, Scott and Jamie were taken in by Don and Marcie White and forced to perform in a show called The Circus of the Mind in Reno.

Telepathy – the ability to communicate using the mind as well as to control the thoughts and actions of others. Scott and Jamie have a strong telepathic link.

Scott is named after the branding on the cardboard box in which he was found (Scott’s Grass Seed). *He has been sort of out of it since his kidnapping by Nightrise. Scott may betray the team as anthony horowitz says that one of them will betray the five, and it says in Nightrise that Scott was persuaded by Jamie tyler not to shoot Trelawny, but this may change at any time.
